Una vulnerabilidad XSS ha sido descubierta en el vBulletin 3 y publicada al BugTraq.

vBulletin 3 versiones RC2, RC3 y RC4 son afectadas. Este lanzamiento ha sido necesario para actualizar la version de includes/init.php para 'patch' el problema.

El paquetes de members' area ha sido actualizado con este archivo.

Si ustedes estan corriendo el vBulletin 3 RC4, simplemente carguen (upload) el archivo

Un reemplazo del search.php esta ahora disponible para el RC4 para arreglar en un asunto potencial de XSS (issue). Este asunto existe unicamente en el RC4 a menos que tu permitas largas palabras para ser indexadas en las resultados de las busquedas (25+ caracteres). En ese caso todas las versiones del vB3 podrian ser afectadas. Este search.php deberia de ser compatible con el RC2 y RC3 pero recomendamos que ustedes actualicen al RC4.
